Who are you????

A week or so ago I added the "visitor map" to our blog. It's fun to be able to see who is looking and where they are looking from. However latley I have noticed there have been several people viewing our blog that I don't know. There have been locations such as Seattle Washington, Clarkston Washington and a few from the UK? They have been to our blog multiple times so I know it's not a mistake that they stumbled onto our page when the googled Price Family.
Should I be worried?

Coupon class

For those of you who havent heard or have failed to check you email, my sister in law and I are hosting a coupon class tomorrow at her house in Lehi. This class is completely free however, if you want to maximize your savings you NEED to subscribe to the sunday paper to get you coupons. The rule is you get one paper for each family member. I realize that sounds crazy but trust me it will pay for itself in as little as 2 shopping trips. I would like to get a head count of who will be attending so that I can let Tori know how many to count on. Please let me know if you are planning to come and if you need directions. Here is alink to her webpage if you want to take a look. www.sheshopssmart.blogspot.com

"Vampire"

My day starts like all the rest. Up at 6'ish make Joel's lunch and he's off to work. Get the kids up around 6:30, feed them and get them to the bus stop. Come home and start my daily chores. However today instead of starting them first thing this morning I decided to take a little "me time". One of my friends let me borrow her copy of Twilight. I have heard alot of talk about the movie, that it was not as good as he book, (what movie ever is)? But I really enjoyed the books so I thought I would really like the movie. I turn on the Xbox, pop in the DVD, grab my Dr. Pepper and a blanket and I am ready to go. It started out real slow and I wasent quit sure I really cared for the actor who was playing Edward. Just a little over an hour into the movie it was getting good, I did not dare walk away afraid that I was going to miss something. I usually have a hard time sitting down watching anything for a long period of time (ask Joel, it drives him crazy). To make a long story short I loved the movie. And I have to confess, along with every other woman 15-35 years of age, I am in love with Edward! Honestly how can you not be????

Like Father Like Son

Aren't they cute?
It's hard to believe that Cody is going to be 11 this year. He loves to hang out with his Dad. They are alike in so many ways it almost scares me. When the weather is nice you can find them outback shooting their bows, playing football, baseball or just goofing around. I was informed that Cody has reached the max poundage on his bow and that he is going to need a new one this year! It's nice to have a sone that enjoys the outdoors but the habit gets expensive when you have two of them to support. I guess if it keeps him active it's worth the money. I just hope that in the next few years he still thinks it's cool to hang with Dad! (wishfull thinking).

Grandma and Grandpa Brooks

This is me with my Grandma and Grandpa Brooks. I must have been about 2 years old. Grandpa died in March of 1982, on the 18th if I recall. I don't have alot of memories of him but I do know I was very upset when he died just 3 days before my 4th birthday. One thing I do remember is sleeping over at their house down on state st, getting up in the mornings and eating Malt-O-Meal with Grandpa. He would always say "Eat around the edges first". To this day it's still my favorite thing to have for breakfast. Grandma died in February of 1997. I have alot of memories of Grandma. I loved when she came to stay at out house for a week. She would always make some of her famous Rice Pudding!! Yummy! She really loved her nap in the Lay Z Boy (I think I know where dad gets the snooring from).

A wrinkle in time

Ah memories!
This was a common activity at our house growing up. Mom just loved it when Angie and I would sit and do her hair (at least that's what she told us). I guess that was her way of unwinding after a hard day at work. I know at times she had a hard time getting all those ribbons and pink spongy curlers out of her hair, but she never said a word. How the years fly by! I know I was young when we lived out of the basement but there are many things I can recall like it was yesterday. One memory that really stands out in my mind is one of my birthdays. I remember sitting in what used to be the kitchen but is now the storage room. We were all siting around that old ugly yellow table we had you were all singing Happy Birthday to me. I don't recall what kind of cake I had that year, but I am sure it was fantastic as all Mom's creations were.

Never before

OK...... So I have a confession to make, I have never blogged before! It's true, I guess I am a little behind the times. I have seen blogs before and always thought how fun it would be to have my own. I never knew it could be so easy to set up or I would have done it forever ago. I am hoping to start a little something that I want to call "a wrinkle in time". I am in need of old pictures if any of you have some, would you please email them to me. Family pictures, black male photos whatever you have.
