For those of you planning on taking a hunting trip to New Mexico...DON'T! Joel swears that they killed the biggest and only 3 bucks that lived in New Mexico.

we had a hard time getting the seeds out

Is it really over?

Even though our team did not win the championship game on Saterday they played awesome. They held North Sanpete to a small two point lead, but that was all they needed. The final score was 14:12 not bad considering the last time we played them they whooped us 20:0. In spite of the bad news, the good news is they still took 2nd place over all! Way to go Juab 6th grade it was a great season!

Here is a picture of my cute kids sporting their new Vikings shirts.

We were up in Provo last night, had to stop at Kmart and get some TP, we go through the checkout and the cashier says "are the Vikings playing today?" We just had to laugh. Imagine all 5 of us walking throught the store with our Minnesota shirts on. It was quite a sight!

Three years ago today my Mom passed away. Words can not express how I am feeling right now. My heart is broken and my eyes are filled with tears. I miss her so much. I miss those crazy birthday calls when she would sing to me, I miss her crooked smile, I miss being able to call her when I don't know what temprature to cook something on, I miss watching Montel with her on Wednesdays and critizing Sylvia Brown and how crazy she is. She always knew what to say and when to say it! I hate October 9th.

I have never been much of a fashion diva, so I often wonder where my girls get their style.

Katelynn was sick most of the night last night so I figured I better keep her home from school today what with all the piggy flu and such. After mowing the lawn I had to run to the green dump to get rid of all the grass and she wanted to go. I told her to get dressed and find her helmet. I was waiting outside on the 4 wheeler for her and she comes out the door strutting her stuff like no other. I wished I would have had the camera there with me, that moment was absolutley priceless!

She is totally in love with the plether leggings from Grandma.

Old news

As some of you may have heard, on the 24th I ran the 5K fun run here in Levan. It was so much fun and I can't wait for the next one. I finished in 18th place (out of 31), my time was 33:13. Ok so not as great as some of you could have done but my goal was to finish and I accomplished it. Atleast I didnt come in last, that's something to brag about!!!!

Happy 11th birthday buddy

It's hard to believe that Cody is already 11. Where has the time gone? It seems like only yesterday that he was born. I can assure you that everyday he lets me know he is no longer my "little" boy. He is growing up so fast is scares me. Today he started football practice and is so excited to be playing tackle football. We are so proud of him and all he does. Happy Birthday Cody We love you!!!!

It was fun while it lasted!!

A few weeks ago (on Fathers day) we decided to buy the kids a tramp. They were so excited and could hardly wait to get home, set it up and jump. I was awesome! It had the net around it to keep the kids safe and everything. Needless to say it has kept the kids busy with hours and hours of summer lovin' entertainment.

That was exacley three weeks ago today and this is the after picture. Just makes me wanna break down and cry. Last night we had quit a wind storm here in Levan. I got up this morning let the dog outside, and when I opened the door I thought to myself "Wierd, I could have sworn the tramp was right there, Joel must have moved it and I didnt notice". Then I remembered that the wind had been blowing most of the night, keeping me up. I walked outside looked around and didnt see it. I looked across the street and seen the neighbors garbage can still laying there on the side of the street. There was no possible way the wind had blown the tramp away and that can was still sitting in the same spot it was last night. I thought for sure someone had stolen it. Joel got in his truck to drive around town just to check it out. Well needless to say he didnt make it very far. Just up the street to the west of us there it lay in a field all twisted and mangled. I think I am taking it harder than the kids. I really am just broken hearted.

I know this is the only one of Cody, but you try to get an 11 year old to hold still and pose for a few pictures, it's almost impossible!

A day at the park

I know a lot of you think it is inconvienent to live down here in "no man's land" but really it's not. We always try to make the best of it and more often then not we have a lot of fun doing it. The kids love to go to the park and they have been a lot since school has let out. 5 days a week to be exact. Nebo school district provides FREE lunch at the park every week day during the summer. So every day at 11:30 that's where you can find us, and really what is better than free?

On the menu today: Chicken nuggets, veggies and dip, rolls, fruit snack, watermelon and milk.

Every Tuesday after the kids are done eating, the local 4H club comes and has a bunch of activities for the kids. Today they taught them about the food pyramid.

And played human Foosball. The Kids had a blast!

You know your getting old when................

It's a Friday night. Your friends have traveled close to 100 miles to come hang out. The kids are all gone, sleeping at their friends house and the best thing you can come up with to do is play Boggle! Damn we are getting old!!!
